DESIGN SERVICES
Listed below are three of the standard design phases that Jones Total Design would typically apply to your project. From the outset, operator safety and compliance with the machinery directive are considered.
Conception
The core requirements of your machine are identified and the main design challenges addressed. On completion of this phase, as a minimum, we deliver a 3D model and General Arrangement drawing for your approval. Additional deliverables may include a draft schematic and any support for H&S compliance sign-off.
Detailed Design and Drawing
Your approved concept design is further refined and finessed to accurately represent the final machine. Manufacturing methods for each part are also confirmed. The 3D model, GA and schematic are released for your final design approval. On acceptance and completion of this phase, all manufacturing and purchasing information is issued. Detailed drawings are produced for all bespoke parts, clear and concise assembly drawings are also delivered along with associated Bill of Materials.
Production & Acceptance Support
Your machine has been issued for production, parts are now making their way over to the assembly area. Jones Total Design offers support throughout build and testing, we are on hand to accommodate any Just in Time alterations. Most importantly we will support you through machine acceptance phases for both factory (FAT) and site (SAT) testing.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Besides providing a full design service, Jones Total Design supports other commercial design tasks that are not covered by the normal design flow.
Engineering Consultation, Standardisation & CAD Support

Feasibility Studies
It is important for businesses to evaluate the technical risks associated with new machine installations. Jones Total Design can deliver a comprehensive feasibility study based around your prospective installation. A feasibility study can be used to determine actual requirements vs theoretical capability of a chosen system. Additionally, a suitable solution can be found by studying a number of different methods and innovations. This service is particularly useful for the below two parties:

Machine integrators - who need to capture all base technical requirements and attain the complexity/risk/cost balance prior to generating the final quotation.

Customers - can use the study as a technical reference. The study will describe a valid, workable solution which may be compared against various supplier proposals.
